Our history

In 2020 I stood heavily pregnant in my garage, among seeds, plants, and bulbs. The notes about the plants got wet and muddy from the soil. My phone was no help – there were quickly too many notes and it became far too difficult to keep things organized.

I thought there must be a smarter way to keep track of everything you do with your garden, a way to gather all information, notes, and inspiration. I also realized the importance of a Community where you can discuss and help each other. Some time before that, I had built a platform on social media and worked alongside as a creator in home & garden.

Many of my followers started asking questions about my garden, so I saw the growing interest in talking about cultivation and gardening. With a background in fintech, I realized what I had been missing - an app where I can gather everything about my garden in one place.

On the other side of the fence lived the neighbor Jonas Öberg, developer. He agreed on the need. We got started and Oh!Garden saw the light of day.
